2. Nene Sakai (Japan) – 10:45.12
3. Jun Yejin (South Korea) – 10:45.33
18 athletes started the race in mass start on the 6 of February. There were no participants from Kazakhstan-they did not manage to recover from the previous performance. From the start Anna made a good pace and eventually showed the best result. The second was the Japanese athlete Nene Sakai who already has two medals of the Universiade-2017. The third was South Korean athlete Jun Yejin.

Anna Pristalova:
- This was an unexpected victory for me. Other athletes are very strong. They participate at World Cups and other major tournaments. The support from the audience inspired me. Thanks to everyone! I do not even know where I found strength to finish the race.
Nene Sakai:
- In first I did not even understand how many competitors are ahead. Now I am happy that I tried to do my best and managed to win another medal of Games.
The coach of the Japanese team Tori Ayenagi noted good conditions of competitions and evaluated assistance of volunteers.
