"Medeo" continues to justify its title of one of the fastest outdoor rinks in the world!
After the race the winners and medalists shared their impressions:
Marina Zuyeva:
- I was preparing for the result that I showed. Me and my coach laid the distance and decided that we should run smoothly all the laps. I'm happy with the result. The weather was the same as at a distance of 3000 meters, at first it was only a little rain. It was harder to run than for 3 000 meters- I got tired. Tomorrow I fly to South Korea for the World Cup where I will run 3000, 5000 meters and mass start. I will start after six days and the competition will be very tough there.
Nene Sakai:
- This is my third start at the Universiade and I am happy with my result.
Lim Jungsoo:
- This is my second participation in this season. Before the finish line I got very tired but now everything is fine.
