Konstantin Savenkov, the captain of the national ice hockey team mentioned that his team plays for sport fans and tries to do their best every match.
- We play for our fans. We have an overwhelming goodwill, - said Konstantin Savenkov. We don’t make a difference with whom we’re competing. We come to the ice rink to show our 100% readiness and possibility to win.
- There is an impression that the game plan was to score as many goals as possible? Is that true?
- Our coach demands a high quality game every time despite a rival. We try to make it. We understand why – if you relax you’re not able to catch a game. During the match with China we succeeded.
- Как оцениваете форму нашей команды?
- How do you estimate a shape of our team?
- We’re gaining momentum at the moment. Before the Universiade we played a friendly match with the ice hockey club “Almaty”. Now the match with China. We’re keeping to establish connections.
- Can you name your principal rival at the Universiade?
-All teams are really good. A principal rival? We’d like to play with Russia. We know some members of its team of our neighbor country. Anyway all rivals are strong to mention team from Sweden and the Czech Republic.
